Receiving devices notifications using the Telegram bot

You can receive notifications in a private chat with our Telegram bot and configure sending them to a group chat.

Configuring a bot to receive notifications in a private chat

1. Go to the 2Smart Notification bot.
2. Tap Start.
3. Copy the bot's Chat ID.

Configuring a bot to receive notifications in a group chat

1. Create a group chat and add 2Smart Notification bot as a member.
2. Send the following message to the chat: /start.
3. Copy the bot's Chat ID.

Configuring the integration of the 2Smart Cloud mobile app and Telegram bot

1. Go to the Notifications section of the 2Smart Cloud mobile app.
2. Go to notification settings.
3. Select "Integration notifications".
4. Select Telegram.
5. Tap Create button.
6. Specify a name for the integration and paste the Chat ID assigned by the bot. Tap Create button when finished.
7. Now you will receive notifications from your IoT devices in the Telegram messenger.
8. If necessary, you can set up multiple integrations to send notifications to various chats.
9. If you need to temporarily stop receiving notifications in Telegram messenger, tap the toggle to the right of the integration name. To activate the integration, tap the toggle again.
